Is the air included? Air transportation is generally not included in the tour price. When fares are published they are the lowest available at the time of publication and are subject to availability; higher fares may apply. All air fares are subject to change. If air transportation is not purchased from Dailey-Thorp Travel, LLC, please note that the passenger is responsible for reserving and purchasing ALL flights for the itinerary, including all inter-European flights, if any listed in the itineraries. Dailey-Thorp is happy to refer clients to our affiliated agency who can make complete air reservations to suit your needs. Flights from and to any airport can be arranged. Tour guests electing not to use Dailey-Thorp for their air travel should provide Dailey-Thorp with a copy of their flight itineraries. May I take the land portion only? Yes, land pricing is done separately from air. Many people prefer to make their own arrangements, or will already be in the country where the tour originates. Many people have accumulated miles they want to use to get free fares/upgrades also. What will the weather be? We send a final bulletin 10 days before departure giving temperatures, dress codes, etc. How formal is it? Usually, a cocktail dress for women and a suit for men is sufficient. Some tours have formal occasions and these are noted in the itinerary. We always advise you of the appropriate dress before your departure so you will know exactly what to pack. Why do you need to know my age? We welcome people of all ages, but want to provide the best prices for those eligible for a senior discount, especially with regard to airline tickets. May I come early or stay a few days later? Yes, we can make your hotel arrangements at the tour hotel, depending of course, upon availability. Can you get me extra performance tickets/Broadway tickets? No, we do not have sufficient staff to handle these requests; however, we will give clients the names and telephone numbers of the hotel concierges and ticket agents who can assist. Do you provide travel insurance? After booking, you will receive information regarding travel insurance along with other information about the tour. You have the option of buying coverage. I will already be in the city/country during the run of a performance. Can I buy opera tickets from you, but not the whole package? No, we are a tour operator, and these trips are offered to you as a complete package, not as separate elements.
